Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Supercanics LLC, a California limited liability company ("Supercanics", "we", "us"), which operates PageRanker at pageranker.us (the "Service"). By running an audit, creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a company, you agree to them on that company's behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
1. What PageRanker does
PageRanker produces SEO audit reports for website domains. A report can include link data (such as referring domains and backlinks), estimated organic keywords and traffic, a crawl of the site's public pages, a mobile speed test, a check of the home page, and the PageRanker Score, our own 0 to 100 measure based on link data. Reports combine data we license from third-party search and link data providers with results from our own crawler.
We may add, change or remove features over time. We will not remove a feature you are paying for in the middle of a paid period without telling you first.
2. Free audits
Visitors can run 3 free audits without an account or a card. We count free audits per person, device and network, using a cookie and a one-way hash of your IP address. Clearing cookies or switching devices to get more free audits is not allowed. We may change the number of free audits, limit them on busy days, or end the free tier, and a change applies to audits not yet run.
3. Accounts and sign-in
Your account is tied to your email address. You sign in with a one-time code we email to that address. Keep access to that inbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at anthony@supercanic.com if you think someone else has used it.
Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current so you get sign-in codes and account notices.
4. Plans, billing and renewal
Paid plans are subscriptions billed by card through our payment processor. You choose monthly or annual billing at checkout.
- Automatic renewal. A monthly plan is charged when you sign up and then every month on the same schedule. An annual plan is charged when you sign up and then every year. Each plan renews automatically until you cancel.
- Your price is locked. The price shown at checkout is the price you keep for as long as your plan stays active. If you cancel and later sign up again, the price at that time applies.
- Allowances. Each plan includes a number of audits that resets every 30 days, including on annual plans. Unused audits do not carry over.
- Taxes. Prices do not include any sales or similar taxes that may apply where you are.
- Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we may pause paid features until the payment goes through or you update your card.
We never see or store your full card number. Card details go from your browser straight to our payment processor, which gives us a reference to your card that we use for renewals.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time from your account page, or by emailing anthony@supercanic.com from the email on your account. When you cancel, no further charges are made, and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
Charges are not refunded, including for partial months or years, except where the law requires a refund.
6. Fair use on Unlimited
The Unlimited plan is for normal business use by the account holder. Fair use is 75 audits a day and 1,000 audits in each 30-day period. Past those numbers, new audits pause until the limit resets, and every report you already ran stays open to you. We may contact you, or move you to an Enterprise arrangement, if use looks automated or resold.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl or copy our website or reports by automated means, or use scripts or bots to run audits, except through an API access we have agreed in writing.
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the raw data in reports as a data product, or use it to build a competing database or service.
- Attack, probe, overload or interfere with the Service, or try to get around its limits, free-audit counts, sign-in or payment steps.
- Use the Service, or any report, to harass, threaten, defame or harm anyone.
- Submit a website you intend to attack, damage or disrupt, or use the Service as part of any unlawful activity.
- Pretend to be someone else, or use another person's account or card without permission.
We may rate-limit, suspend or close an account or block access when we reasonably believe these rules have been broken, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities. If we close a paid account for a breach of these rules, no refund is due.
8. Our crawler
When you enter a domain, our crawler fetches public pages of that domain, the way a search engine does. It does not log in, submit forms or read anything that is not publicly available. It follows the site's robots.txt instructions. The number of pages fetched depends on your plan.
You may enter any domain, including sites you do not own, because the audit uses public information only. You must not use the Service to put load on a site you do not have the right to test beyond what a normal audit does.
9. Reports are estimates, provided as is
Reports are informational. Link counts, keyword rankings, traffic, traffic value and the PageRanker Score are estimates built from third-party data and our own crawl. Third-party data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and different tools report different figures for the same site.
THE SERVICE AND ALL REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee any ranking, traffic, revenue or other result from acting on a report. Reports are not legal, financial or other professional advice. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, SUPERCANICS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, RANKINGS, TRAFFIC, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR ANY REPORT, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM. IF YOU HAVE PAID US NOTHING, IT IS LIMITED TO ZERO DOLLARS.
Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is the case, the limits apply as far as the law allows.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Supercanics LLC and its members, employees and contractors against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that come from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or how you use or share a report, including reports you give to your own clients.
12. Intellectual property
The PageRanker website, software, design, report format and the PageRanker Score are owned by Supercanics LLC and protected by law. These terms do not give you any ownership of them or of the underlying data, which belongs to us or to our data providers.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view, download, print and share the reports you run, for your own business and for your clients, including with your own branding where your plan allows it. This license does not cover reselling raw data or the acts listed under Acceptable use.
Names and trademarks of other companies that appear on the site or in reports belong to their owners.
13. What you let us do with reports
When you submit a domain, you allow us to process it, produce the report, store the report and keep it. We may use stored report data, in aggregated or de-identified form, to improve our scores, build benchmarks and industry datasets, and develop new features and products. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
Anyone who has a report's link can open it. Reports are not published or listed in search engines, but treat a report link like an unlisted document and share it only with people you want to see it.
14. Ending the service
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, under the Acceptable use section, or if we stop offering PageRanker. If we stop offering PageRanker altogether, we will cancel your subscription and give at least 30 days' notice by email. The sections on estimates, liability, indemnity, intellectual property and governing law survive after your use ends.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change, we will email account holders and post the new terms on this page at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your plan before the change takes effect.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to the Service or these terms will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it directly.
17. General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not giving it up. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
