Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Supercanics LLC ("we", "us") collects through PageRanker at pageranker.us, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to meet the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, "CCPA") and the California Online Privacy Protection Act.

1. What we collect

Domains and reports

The website addresses you submit, and the reports we produce for them. A report describes a public website: its links, rankings, pages, speed and home page.

Account details

If you buy a plan or sign in: your email address, the name on your card, the company name and logo link you add for branded reports, your billing ZIP code, your plan, and your list of saved sites.

Payment details

Card payments are handled by our payment processor. Card numbers go from your browser straight to the processor. We store only a reference to your stored card and subscription, never your full card number or security code.

Device and usage data

  • IP address, stored only as a one-way hash, used to count free audits and stop abuse. We do not keep the IP address itself with your audits.
  • Country, as reported by our network provider for each audit.
  • Cookies. A visitor id cookie that counts your free audits, and a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. Both are first-party. We use no advertising cookies.
  • Browser storage. A small flag in your browser that remembers you signed in, so the header shows Account instead of Sign in.
  • Sign-in codes, stored as a one-way hash for 15 minutes.

What you send us

If you give your email at the paywall, fill in the Enterprise form, or book a call, we keep what you send: such as your name, email, phone, company, website and message.

2. How we use it

  • To run audits and show you your reports.
  • To count free audits and plan allowances, and to prevent abuse and fraud.
  • To bill your plan, handle renewals and cancellations, and keep billing records.
  • To send account emails, such as sign-in codes and notices about your plan.
  • If you gave your email at the paywall, to send you one email about plans.
  • To reply to Enterprise inquiries and booked calls, and to give support.
  • To keep the Service secure and working, and to improve it.

3. Reports we keep

Every report run on PageRanker is stored on our servers and kept. This includes the report you see and the underlying data we received to build it.

Reports are about public websites, not about the person who ran them. We may use stored report data, in aggregated or de-identified form, to improve our scores, build benchmarks and industry datasets, and develop new features and products. Aggregated or de-identified data does not identify you as the person who ran an audit.

Reports are not published by us or indexed by search engines; report pages tell search engines not to index them. A report's link works for anyone who has it, so share it only with people you want to see it.

If a report is about your website and you want it taken out of our stored reports' public links, email us at anthony@supercanic.com from an address at that domain, or show us another way that you control the site.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as follows:

  • Service providers who work for us under contract: hosting and network, payment processing, email delivery and customer relationship management, and the search and link data providers who receive the domain names you submit so they can return data about them.
  • Legal requirements, when the law, a court order or a valid legal request requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or us.
  • Business transfers, if Supercanics LLC or PageRanker is merged, sold or reorganized, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There are no advertising pixels or third-party ad trackers on this site. In the past 12 months we have not sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.

5. How long we keep it

  • Account data: while you have an account, and after that for as long as the law requires, such as for tax and billing records.
  • Reports: kept indefinitely, because they describe websites, not people.
  • Hashed IP and visitor counters: kept to count free audits and prevent abuse.
  • Inquiries and paywall emails: kept while they are useful for replying to you, or until you ask us to delete them.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it and who we share it with, and to get a copy.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions the law allows, such as records we must keep.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still ask.
  • Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights.

To make a request, email anthony@supercanic.com with the subject "Privacy request" and say which right you want to use. We verify a request by matching it to the email address on your account, for example by sending a code to that address. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof that you gave them permission. We reply within 45 days.

Deleting your account information does not delete reports about websites, since those are not about you, but we will remove your link to them.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Since we do not sell or share personal information, the Service works the same with or without the signal. We do not track you across other websites, so our handling of Do Not Track signals does not change anything either.

8. Children

PageRanker is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, store IP addresses and sign-in codes as one-way hashes, keep card numbers away from our servers, and limit who can access stored data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you as the law requires.

10. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For a material change, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
